Tottenham target Danny Drinkwater has told the press that he has no plan to leave the Premier League champions Leicester City, despite interest from multiple top clubs. Drinkwater, now an accomplished England international, had a sensational season last year.

  • Tottenham were rumoured to have contacted Claudio Ranieri's side regarding Drinkwater's availability and were told that the Foxes want to keep one of their best players.

    Drinkwater told the gathered media: "I’m leaving the contract to them, I’m not getting involved and just trying to concentrate on my football and what happens out on the pitch.

    "I want something done. When it’s right it’s right and I’ll sign. I love the club."
