Manchester United are willing to offload German international Bastian Schweinsteiger on a cut-price deal this summer. The 32-year-old is currently training with the reserve side as he is not in the plans of Jose Mourinho.

  • The World Cup winner has had his fitness issues over the past year, and this has urged Mourinho to offload his services at the earliest opportunity.

According to German daily Bild, United are ready to accept fees of around £2m for Schweinsteiger, which is about £5m less than they paid to Bayern Munich last year.

Italian giants Juventus are keeping an eye on the experienced campaigner, but a move will only be made if they miss out on top target and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi. The Old Lady are on the search for a new enforcer after Paul Pogba made a dream return to Old Trafford.

Nevertheless, United could have a tough time selling their player due to his hefty wages which currently stand at £190,000-a-week.
