Kane set for bumper deal at Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur prepared to double the wages of Harry Kane

England international Harry Kane will hold talks over a fresh contract at Tottenham Hotspur. The 23-year-old is currently on wages of £50,000-a-week.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The striker only penned a five-and-a-half extension in February, but it seems Spurs are willing to negotiate a bumper deal.

According to The Mirror, the North London giants will at least double the wages of Kane as they bid to convince him to stay at the club for the long-term.

Kane had been the subject of a failed approach from Napoli over the summer, and this has urged Spurs to make the marksman the highest earner at White Hart Lane.

The Englishman has turned to be a key player for Spurs in recent seasons, and his commitment would provide a boost to a potential challenge for the Premier League title.

Kane has racked 64 goals in 130 outings for Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions.
