Sevilla warn Fabiano suitors

26 January 2008 - 01:13

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido.has warned it would cost at least 60 million Euros for Premiership sides to even consider signing the Brazilian superstar striker Luis Fabiano. Man City and Tottenham are both interested in signing the player.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Del Nido told the club's website, www.sevillafc.es: "I will try to be as clear as possible. Luis Fabiano has a fixed contract with Sevilla. A week ago we had meetings to discuss this matter, but Sevilla owns 100% of the player. There is no possibility that he will abandon Sevilla.

"We are in discussions about his next contract and we have decided a number of years and it only remains for us to discuss his wage.

"In no way will Luis Fabiano leave, only if the club receives an offer of over 60 million euros.

"The only person who has authority to speak on this matter is me - not his representative or the player."
