Italian giants AS Roma are eyeing a January move for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay. The Giallorossi are on the search for a new attacker with Mohamed Salah set to participate at the African Cup of Nations.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Netherlands international has emerged as the top option for the Capital outfit as they seek to overcome the loss of Salah.
Salah is expected to feature for Egypt at the African Cup, and this could see him miss at least four weeks of action with Roma starting from mid-January.
On the other hand, Depay has been restricted of playing time under Jose Mourinho this term, and it is believed he could accept a temporary stint away from Old Trafford in order to prove his credentials.
The former PSV Eindhoven star has amassed just over 10 minutes of league football this season.
