Stoke City are looking to increase their full-back potential in January by signing Linus Wahlqvist.
Mark Hughes is searching for a long-term replacement for Glen Johnson, Phil Bardsley is also not getting any younger, so Wahlqvist is on the books for the Potters in the next transfer window.
20-year-old Swedish international is currently playing for his home-town club Norrkoping, and his performances really have caught an eye. With his versatility, Wahlqvist can play anywhere in the defence, but actually he is a right-back, and has started all this seasonās league games there.
This season, in 28 league appearances, he netted 2 goals and made 2 assists, also has made his international debut by playing in friendlies against Estonia and Finland.
