Hugo Lloris committed to Tottenham Hotspur

France international Hugo Lloris has asserted that he is committed to his duties at Tottenham Hotspur despite turning down a long-term contract.

  • The 30-year-old has stalled on negotiations over a fresh deal at White Hart Lane after the club were reluctant to break the &pound100,000-a-week barrier.

Ahead of Spurs' Champions League clash against Monaco, Lloris assured the fans that they have nothing to worry about, and he is content with his role at the North London outfit.

Lloris has more than two years left on his £90,000 weekly package and talks over an extension are likely to be postponed until the end of the campaign.

The former Lyon star is said to demand wages of around &pound120,000-a-week, and this has urged the club's hierarchy to play the waiting game.

English striker Harry Kane is the other who has snubbed contract talks with Tottenham Hotspur as he feels he deserves to be the club's highest earner.
