Leon Bailey rules out Man Utd move

23 November 2016 - 14:41

Genk youngster Leon Bailey has insisted that he would not consider a move to Manchester United unless he is guaranteed regular first-team football.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The teenager has been closely watched by several European clubs this season with the Red Devils being his main admirers.

In an interview with HLN Sport, the youngster revealed that he is no rush to pursue a bigger challenge as he would be only warming the substitutes' bench.

He added that he is enjoying his spell in the Jupiler League, and will seek to progress further during the ongoing campaign.

Bailey has netted six goals in 18 appearances for Genk this term. He currently qualifies to play for either Jamaica or Belgium at international level, and it will be interesting to see where he pledges his allegiance.
