Chelsea are reportedly considering an enormous £15 million offer for Sporting Lisbon's attacking midfielder João Moutinho. Moutinho had been linked with a move to Chelsea when Mourinho was at the club, but Avram Grant will test Sporting's resolve one more time.
Moutinho is considered one of the best young prospects in Europe, and the 21 year old has spent the whole of his career at the Lisbon giants.
Compared by many to Portuguese legend Manuel Rui Costa, his natural position is to play behind the forwards combining pin point passing accuracy with superb long distance shooting ability.
If Chelsea snap up the Portuguese international, who has 11 caps to his name, it is believed Abramovich will have to bankroll at least £15 million to land the starlet.
