Championship side Aston Villa are considering the sale of Ross McCormack just four months after his arrival from Fulham.
The Scotland international joined the Midlands outfit from the Cottagers for a £12m fee in the summer.
According to The Mirror, the Villains are mulling over the prospect of offloading McCormack in the New Year after he failed to live up to his expectations.
McCormack has been a consistent goalscorer in the Championship in recent seasons, but his tally of just two in 14 outings for Villa has seen them struggle in the division.
The 30-year-old has previously attracted interest from West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League, but his form is likely to deter the Baggies from lodging a formal approach.
McCormack has netted over 150 goals in his professional career which began with the Rangers in the 2003-04 season.
