West Bromwich Albion are prepared to offer midfielder Chris Brunt a fresh contract following his impressive form in recent games.
The 31-year-old had been nursing a cruciate ligament injury for much of the campaign before contributing to the Baggies' successful run in the Premier League.
According to The Birmingham Mail. the Baggies are prepared to reward the Northern Irishman a brand new contract with his previous deal due to expire in the summer.
Brunt, who joined the West Midlands side in 2007, has been key to the Baggies setup in recent games which have propelled them to seventh in the league standings.
The experienced midfielder is expected to have a joint testimonial with fellow teammate James Morrison for their long-standing commitment next year.
Brunt has amassed exactly 318 outings for Tony Pulis' side, who have won three of their last four outings in the top flight.
