Championship club Aston Villa have shown interest in pursuing a temporary deal for Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson. The full-back returned from a cruciate ligament problem earlier this season.
The 24-year-old has struggled with the limited opportunities at hand with the Gunners this term.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Villains boss Steve Bruce is looking to add a youthful option on the right side of the defence which has been occupied by Alan Hutton for most of the campaign.
Jenkinson is currently on the fringes of the first-team, and it is understood that the Gunners would welcome the prospect of loan move in order to help the player regain his confidence.
The one-time England international last appeared for the Gunners in the EFL Cup where they were eliminated by Southampton in the quarter-final stage.
