Manchester United can get their hands on Dimitri Payet in January, should they offer Anthony Martial to West Ham United in exchange.
The France international joined the Hammers from Marseille last season, and produced a number of memorable performances to guide his side to a Europa League place.
He has, however, failed to match his performance this season, and this has in one way seen the Hammers struggle in the top flight.
According to Le10Sport, the Hammers could consider selling Payet to the Red Devils in the New Year, if Martial is to move in the opposite direction.
Martial, 21, has been far from his best form this term, but it is improbable that the United hierarchy would let go of their top prospect in the future.
Payet has notched two goals and five assists for West Ham United, who are lingering just above the Premier League drop zone.
