  • Banega joined the San Siro outfit from Sevilla in the summer and has since appeared in 12 outings in the Serie A.

According to Football.fr, the Toffees are keeping tabs on the midfielder's situation with Ronald Koeman keen to bolster his squad further at the turn of the year.

The 27-year-old appeared in 43 outings for Europa League holders Sevilla last term before he moved on to the Nerazzurri on a Bosman.

Apart from Banega, Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis are also said to be on the radar of Everton.
