Snodgrass not keen on CSL switch

Robert Snodgrass snubs China offer

14 January 2017 - 19:02

Robert Snodgrass has reportedly turned down the chance to join the Chinese Super League this month. The Scotland international has been an influential player for Hull City this season.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The 29-year-old recently snubbed negotiations over a fresh contract at the KCOM Stadium, and this has attracted interest from West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and a host of Chinese clubs.

According to The Record, the forward Norwich City ace has refused to consider offers from the Far East despite receiving wages in excess of £80,000-a-week.

Snodgrass is keen to prolong his international career with ScotlandĀ and this has urged him to stay put in England where he still has plenty of suitors.

The Tigers are, for now, reluctant to offload their attacker in the transfer window unless they receive an offer in excess of £15m.

Snodgrass has notched seven goals and three assists for Hull City, who are in the drop zone by virtue of goal difference to Crystal Palace.
