Premier League leaders Chelsea have identified Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller as a potential replacement for Diego Costa this month.
Costa, 28, is said to be considering an £80m move to Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian, and this could see a huge void in the Blues attack.
According to The Express, German international Thomas Muller is regarded as the top option to replace Costa, and the Blues will not hesitate to spend the entire sum amassed from the sale of the Spanish striker.
Muller has netted just a solitary goal in Bundesliga this season, and his tally of just 10 starts under Carlo Ancelotti has ignited speculation over a possible exit from the Allianz Arena.
League rivals Manchester United are also said to hold a strong interest in the World Cup winner, and there could be a bidding battle to pursue the player's services in the transfer window.
