Kenedy set for Flamengo loan?

Chelsea wideman heading to Brazil?

18 January 2017 - 06:19

Chelsea full-back Kenedy is reportedly on the verge of sealing a temporary move back to his home nation. The Brazilian is currently on the radar of Flamengo.

  • Chelsea want Bournemouth ace after Fernandez sale
  • Nottingham Forest agree £45m deal to sign Chelsea striker
  • Kenedy was expected to spend the entire season on loan with Watford, but he was recalled after making just a solitary substitute appearance under Walter Mazzarri.

ESPN Brazil cites that Flamengo are keen on signing the 20-year-old, who can feature across the left side of the pitch.

The youngster turned out 20 times for the Premier League leaders last term, but it is yet to be known whether Antonio Conte considers him as part of his plans.

Nathan Ake has also been recalled from Bournemouth to bolster the left wing-back position, and this could see Kenedy being shipped on loan to the Brazilian Série A giants.
