  • Cafu had been a tormenter for their Champions League group which included Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Basel.

According to the Chronicle Live, manager Rafa Benitez is lining up a bid for the player after he netted an impressive tally of four goals in Europe.

Cafu is one of the many Brazilian players at Ludogorets, and he was named the best foreign player in the Bulgarian First Division for 2016.

The 25-year-old can feature as either a centre-forward or as a right-sided winger, and his progress has also captured the attention of West Ham United and champions Leicester City.
