Manager Walter Mazzarri has hinted that Watford could offload the services of striker Odion Ighalo before next week's deadline.
The Nigeria international has been far from his best this season, and he is said to have received offers from both West Bromwich Albion and Chinese giants Shanghai Shenhua.
Watford have already signed the likes of Mauro Zarate and M'Baye Niang to bolster their forward ranks this month, and Mazzarri feels Ighalo could leave Vicarage Road in the next few days.
"We know there are some offers but it is still too early to say anything. I was told that there is a really important offer but we will evaluate in the next days."
Tony Pulis's side are believed to have tabled a £13m offer for the 27-year-old but they will still have to convince the player to neglect a bumper wage package from the Chinese Super League.
Ighalo, who was previously on the radar of Manchester United, had snubbed a lucrative move to the Far East a year ago.
