Premier League leaders Chelsea are reportedly set to compete with Arsenal for the services of Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
The Italy international was speculated to be the subject of a £55m bid from the Gunners earlier in the month before manager Arsene Wenger dismissed the claim.
According to The Star, the Blues are lining up a potential deal for talented marksman as they seek to lure him to the Premier League ahead of their London rivals.
It had been previously suggested that the Gunners could move for the centre-forward in the summer, but it now appears that the two clubs will fight it out for the player's signature prior to the transfer deadline.
Belotti has netted an impressive tally of 18 goals for club and country this season, and this has raised his reputation among the elite in Europe.
Torino are said to value Belotti in excess of £65m, and nothing less than that will urge them to sell before Tuesday's deadline.
