Musonda is staying put - Conte

Charly Musonda Junior was impressive during the first half of his loan period at the Benitio Villamarin, the home Spanish club, Real Betis. The 20-year-old and former Anderlecht academy product performances for Betis caught the eye of Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte and his management thus the recall.

  • It has been widely reported by various tabloids that AC Milan and other unnamed teams are looking to taking the talented Belgian on loan on deadline day till the end of the ongoing season but Conte has rebuffed all rumours about the player and insists Musonda Jr stays at Chelsea to aid in his development and progression and also increase his chances of first team football. 

    Conte is a huge admirer of Musonda's skills and technical ability and has promised the young Belgian game time in the near future. 

    Charly Musonda Junior made 24 appearances for Real Betis and scored one goal. He's the son of former Anderlecht and Zambian player, Charles Musonda.
