Inter Milan react to Perisic speculation

Perisic to stay at Inter for long-term

Inter Milan react to Perisic speculation

20 February 2017 - 06:08

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has issued hands-off warning to the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea over star winger Ivan Perisic.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts

  • The Croatia international was recently linked with a move to England amid claims that the Nerazzurri could sell him to comply with the financial fair-play restrictions.

However, Ausilio has now dismissed the claims by insisting that the player remains crucial to the club's progress, and his side will not entertain offers for their star performers.

"I do not think it is either Perisic's or our intentions for him to leave," he told FourFourTwo. "He is part of a massive project and we do not want to sell our players.

"We cannot envisage an Inter without Perisic. We are not going to get rid of our best players."

Perisic, who is rated in the £30m range, has netted seven goals and assisted a further two for Inter Milan, who are fourth in the Serie A.
