Claudio Bravo on Leipzig radar

Bravo could leave Man City after just one season

Claudio Bravo on Leipzig radar

28 February 2017 - 18:46

Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig have earmarked Manchester City's Claudio Bravo as a potential target for the summer transfer window.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Chile international joined the Citizens from Barcelona last summer with a view to securing the number one role at the Etihad.

However, he has rather been a hit and miss between the sticks, and he currently finds himself behind Wilfried Caballero in the pecking order.

According to German sources, the Chilean stopper could be heading for an early exit from Manchester with Leipzig prepared to offer him a fresh challenge.

The German side are said to be highly ambitious with their future plans, and the qualification for the Champions League could provide them the impetus to strengthen their squad further in the summer.

Bravo has not had fond memories in his short period in England, and a move to Germany could be a welcome prospect, given the phenomenal rise of Leipzig in recent seasons.
