France international Antoine Griezmann has cited that he has no reason to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer despite the ongoing speculation over a move to Manchester United.
The 25-year-old has been the subject of strong interest from United in recent weeks with a section of the media suggesting that the player has verbally agreed terms with the Old Trafford outfit.
However, while speaking to Spain's TVE Telediario de La1, the attacker insisted that he is sick of the continuous gossip, and he will be part of the club as they move away from the Vicente Calderon.
The Spanish giants are due to switch to the 67,000-seater Wanda Metropolitano next season, and Griezmann believes that the club will progress further under Diego Simeone at the new facility.
Simeone had reduced his contract length by two years to 2018 earlier in the season, but Griezmann is confident that success in both the Champions League and La Liga will convince the manager to rethink his decision.
