Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been offered an annual package of £15million-a-year in order to join MLS club LA Galaxy in the summer.

  • The big Swede has turned out to be one of the best free transfer signings of all time having already netted 26 goals across all competitions this season.

Ibrahimovic has been mum over his future beyond the current campaign, but it is understood that United have already begun talks over a potential two-year extension.

According to The Express, the Red Devils could face a blow in their quest to keep hold of their veteran with LA Galaxy being to offer a better package (£15million-a-year) to lure the veteran to move to the United States.

Ibrahimovic, who is currently £260,000-per-week at Old Trafford, has previously stated his desire to dominate American football before calling quits on his professional career.

He is also understood to be a transfer target for Napoli - a club he holds in high regard despite a failed move last summer.
