Not a day passes by at the moment without Alexis Sanchez being linked with a different club, as his exit from the Emirates look imminent as a result of a dramatic season on and off the pitch at Arsenal. Now however, Sanchez claims that he is happy at his current club.
Whilst away on international duty, Alexis Sanchez spoke to Chilean media, stating that he is "happy in London" and is looking to finish his contract there. Sanchez has just over a year remaining on his current deal with Arsenal and these claims will give Gunners fans hope of keeping hold of their star player.
However, if the team's current form continues, Sanchez will more than likely leave, as he says that he needs to be in "a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality."
Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain are just a few of the teams that have shown strong interest in taking Sanchez away for the North London club.
Speculation over the Chilean international's future is just one of a number of storylines that are currently unravelling at the Emirates, with Mesut Ozil being in a similar situation, manager Arsene Wenger being asked by many fans to stand down and on the pitch, the team have lost four of their last five league games.
