Palermo are chasing Atalanta's experienced defender Gianpaolo Bellini. Bellini has only played for one club in his career, and a fresh start could kick start the 27-year-old's international career.

The fee mentioned is 6m euros, but Palermo have only offered 3m + a player swap deal. Atalanta are listening to offers and Sampdoria, Livorno and Torino are also interested.
