Tottenham Hotspur are looking to discuss a transfer agreement with Juventus defender Dani Alves ahead of this summer's transfer window.

  • The north London giants have begun initial discussions with the player's representative as they seek to add more experience to their ranks in the summer.

According to Yahoo! Sport, manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to recruit the Brazil international to his squad after seeing his side fall short of the Premier League title in the last two seasons.

Alves enjoyed a trophy-laden career with Spanish champions Barcelona before moving on to Juventus in the summer of 2016.

He has enjoyed a similar success with the Old Lady, and he is on course to win a treble, should his side beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Spurs are currently uncertain over the future of Kyle Walker, who is wanted by Manchester City, and his departure could encourage the arrival of Alves to north London.

Alves has netted five goals and six assists for Juventus during the ongoing campaign.
