Man Utd on alert as BVB striker looks for fresh move

Manchester United could consider a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following the striker's decision to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere, German outlet BILD claims.

  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The Gabon international has had another top season with the Bundesliga outfit netting 39 goals in the process, and he is now prepared to switch to a bigger club.

SportBILD suggests that the striker has revealed his intention to leave BvB this summer as he looks to link up with a club capable of winning more trophies.

Manchester United have been previously credited with an interest in the African marksman, and it is suggested that they could retain their pursuit, should they fail to lure one of their main targets which include Antoine Griezmann and Andrea Belotti.

Aubameyang currently has four years left on his existing deal, and BvB would be willing to accept in excess of £40m for his signature in the summer.

Dortmund have lost key players to their European rivals in recent seasons, and this has urged the club to focus on bringing up young players capable of standing out with their performances on their day.
