Zlatan Ibrahimovic has wasted no time finding a new club after it was revealed this week that he would not be offered a new contract by Manchester United. The Swedish striker is set to move to the MLS and sign for LA Galaxy.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Ibrahimovic had a great debut season in England and finished this season as Manchester United's top scorer. However, after picking up a serious knee injury that will see him out until the new year, Old Trafford chiefs have decided against keeping him at the club.

Reports in Spain today are suggesting that LA Galaxy have made an agreement with Ibrahimovic, that will see him play for the franchise when the new season begins in March.

With the timing of the MLS calendar, Ibrahimovic will have an extended period to complete his rehabilitation and then regain full fitness. Some critics have questioned whether he would be able to return to the field after such a serious injury at this stage in his career, but if there's one thing that Ibrahimovic enjoys most, it is proving his doubters wrong.
