PSG make £35m bid for Gianluigi Donnarumma

11 June 2017 - 10:39

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have become the first club to make a formal approach for in-form AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Italy international has enjoyed another top season with the Rossoneri, and he could be prepared to switch clubs despite his tender age.

AC Milan currently under a new Chinese ownership have made significant signings to bolster the overall squad, but this has not diminished speculation linking Donnarumma with a San Siro exit.

Manchester United and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with moves for the teenager in recent weeks, but according to Mino Raiola, there are nine other clubs courting an interest in the 18-year-old stopper.

Italian outlet Il Gornale suggests that Paris Saint-Germain have made the first attempt to sign Donnarumma with Unai Emery keen on adding a potential world-class keeper to his ranks.

The Ligue 1 outfit have placed an opening £35m offer on the table for the Italian, who just has a year left on his Rossoneri deal. The fallen Serie A giants have already offered Donnarumma with a fresh £3m a year contract to stay put at Milan, and he is likely to come up with a decision in the coming weeks.
