Liverpool and Derby County have agreed a deal to allow defender Andre Wisdom make a move to the Championship hopefuls. Wisdom has penned a three year contract at County.
Derby have matched Liverpool's valuation of £1 million up front, with a further £2.5 million over six months and should the defender reach a range of objectives during his move to the Rams.
County have been busy looking for new targets for the upcoming season as they plan for possible Premier League promotion this coming campaign.
Wisdom had been tipped for an important role at Anfield but in recent years and particularly under German manager Jurgen Klopp, his opportunities at Anfield have been limited. Andre has now decided to drop down a division to improve his chances of regular first team action and to secure his long-term future at a top club.
Wisdom has just one year remaining on his contract at Liverpool and thus his club have decided to cash in on the player now.
