  • The 36-year-old had been linked with a move to both China and the USA; where he could earn one final big pay day before ending his footballing career. However, Terry has received a last minute offer from Premier League side WBA, who have reportedly offered him a one-year contract with the option for a further season.

West Bromwich Albion is reportedly in pole position for the player's signature. Bournemouth is also reportedly interested in Terry, but it is believed the former Chelsea star prefers a move to West Brom with the offer of regular first team football from Tony Pulis. The Baggies' coach had indicated at the beginning of the season that he would love to sign Terry.

Terry is currently on holiday and will make a decision on his next destination at the beginning of July.
