West Ham United are reportedly close to sanctioning the sale of Sofiane Feghouli to Turkish giants Galatasaray. The Algeria international joined the Hammers on a free from Valencia during last summer's transfer window.

  • Feghouli, 27, inked a three-year deal upon his arrival to the London Stadium last summer, but he largely struggled to make an impact during the initial phase of the campaign.

The former Los Che man had been linked with a potential winter exit from the east London outfit, but manager Slaven Bilic opted to keep hold of his services with Dimitri Payet having pushed through a return to Marseille.

Overall, Feghouli managed just three goals in 21 top-flight outings, and according to Sky Sports News, he will travel to Istanbul over the weekend to complete the necessary formalities with Galatasaray. Slaven Bilic's side have agreed on a sum of around £4m to part ways with Feghouli.

The Hammers have recruited five players in Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, Sead Haksabanovic, Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart during the summer transfer window. West Ham United begin their Premier League campaign with a tough trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
