Adebayor praises Ronaldo

Emmanuel Adebayor has praised his rival for the Golden Boot accolade, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Arsenal frontman praised the Man Utd winger for his consistency and quality and believed winning the Golden Boot would be a privilege but would prefer Arsenal to win the Premiership.

"He is a player I like to watch," Adebayor told Arsenal's official website.



"He has a lot of quality and watching him is like watching something else, it is like playing on the PlayStation sometimes.



"He is an amazing footballer and I show him a lot of respect for what he has done this season. There are not a lot of players, especially midfielders who can achieve what he has achieved.



"The Golden Boot is something I want to do as a footballer but the most important thing is that I want to achieve something as a team.



"At the end of the day, if I win the Golden Boot and the team does not win anything, I cannot see me enjoying myself - it would be better to win the title."
