Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Hirving Lozano, who has made a bright start to his Eredivisie career with PSV Eindhoven.
The 22-year-old, who was previously on the radar of Manchester City, joined the Dutch giants from Pachuca in June for a fee of around £7.2m.
According to The Mail, Gunners head scout Steve Rowley has watched the Mexican play on a couple of occasions for PSV, and he has been earmarked as a potential replacement for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.
It is added that PSV are willing to cut ties with the attacker in the New Year, should the Gunners pay up a fee of £20m for his signature.
Should the deal go through, Arsenal are likely to sanction the sale of Alexis Sanchez, with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain identified as his main suitors.
Lozano has already notched six goals in the Dutch top-flight this term, and he is currently the joint-top scorer alongside Feyenoord's Steven Berghuis and AZ Alkmaar's Wout Weghorst.
