Rose wants Manchester United transfer

Danny Rose would reject Chelsea for Manchester United move

Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose is reportedly angling towards a move to Manchester United next summer and would snub any approach made by Chelsea.

  • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit

  • The England international was linked with a potential switch to Jose Mourinho's side in the summer - shortly after he criticised Spurs for their lack of ambition in a newspaper interview with The Sun.

Rose has since apologised for the incident to the north London club, but according to The Star, he still has his sights on a move to Old Trafford, where he wants to work under Jose Mourinho.

Antonio Conte's side were also credited with an interest during the summer transfer window, but it is suggested that the 27-year-old would turn down the Blues if a formal offer is submitted.

Rose, who has returned to full training with his Spurs teammates, has recently emerged as a £45m target for Manchester United, who are assessing the future of Luke Shaw.

Shaw has struggled to make himself a regular under Mourinho, and the club could sell him when he approaches the final year of his contract next summer.
