Karim Benzema's agent Karim Djaziri has dismissed his client's prospects of leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season. A recent report from Don Balon suggested that the Frenchman could favour a switch to Arsenal next summer.

  • Benzema has spent the past eight years with the European champions, and he recently put pen to paper on a fresh deal to keep him at the Bernabeu until 2021.

Despite this, speculation continues to surface over the France international with Arsenal considered favourites to pursue a future move for his services.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Djaziri categorically ruled out his client's departure by citing that he is very happy in the Spanish capital, he said: "Benzema is very happy at Real Madrid. [He has] absolutely no intention of leaving the club."

Benzema netted his maiden goal of the La Liga campaign last weekend as Real Madrid secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over close neighbours Getafe.

The 29-year-old has amassed 182 goals for Real Madrid in all competitions since arriving from Lyon on a €41m transfer package in July 2009.
