France international Paul Pogba could reportedly make the matchday squad for Manchester United when they take on Newcastle United following the international break.
In a recent interview with MUTV, Mourinho had cited that the likes of Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make their comebacks during the festive period as they continue to work out on their fitness.
The Daily Star has now added to the story by suggesting that Pogba could join his teammates in full training next week prior to the Magpies game scheduled on November 18.
The report, however, claims that the Frenchman will slowly be integrated to the starting lineup with Mourinho likely to offer him a runout from bench in preparation for the crunch derby versus Manchester City in early December.
Pogba had been in fine touch for United in the early part of the campaign where he contributed two goals and two assists, and his injury absence (hamstring) coincided with the dip in form of Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Marouane Fellaini also made his comeback in the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend, and it could be exciting times for the fans after the break with United up to near full strength.
