Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague has said that Mohamed Salah is not a priority for Real Madrid ahead of this summer's transfer window. The Egypt international has been heavily tipped for a move to the Bernabeu, having already scored 36 goals for Liverpool during the ongoing campaign.
The 25-year-old has been touted as a potential target for Los Blancos leading into the summer, but according to Balague, the European champions have no plans of pursuing a deal for the former AS Roma man.
"Salah is a difficult one because Real Madrid have no mention of him as a candidate to be a Galactico," he told Sky Sports. "You can think there is a market in Egypt and he is a star of the Premier League - he has a lot of things to go for him - but if they get Hazard they won't need Salah."
Salah has already broken the scoring record for a Reds player in his debut season, and he now has the opportunity of surpassing Ian Rush's 47-goal tally for a single Reds season set more than 30 years ago.
Despite Salah's exploits, Liverpool are planning to pursue a new wide player to their ranks, and the likes of Suso and Thomas Lemar have been linked with potential summer moves to the club.
