Chelsea are reportedly looking to revamp their defence with the signings of Kalidou Koulibaly and Elseid Hysaj from Napoli at the end of the season.
The Blues have been defensively solid over the course of the campaign but they have been occasions where they have been found wanting in the away matches.
As a result, the club's hierarchy are keen to reinforce the defence during the summer and Koulibaly and Hysaj have been identified as possible targets to strengthen the central and right-back positions respectively.
Among the duo, Koulibaly has been a long-term target for Blues boss Antonio Conte and the club are prepared to go ahead with their transfer plans regardless of whether the Italian remains at the helm.
The Blues have endured a poor defence of the English crown this season and Conte is expected to be dismissed regardless of the club's success in the FA Cup final next month.
