Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has stressed that he is in no rush to leave the Hoops. The Scotland international has been in fine form for Brendan Rodgers' side this term and this has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

  • In a report covered by The Record, Tierney was quizzed about his future plans where he indicated that he has no plans of leaving the Hoops, he said: "It doesn't bother me or distract me because I'm enjoying myself. I'm playing for Celtic, so I'm happy. I'm not in any rush at all.

"I had four years left on my last contract and, if I wanted to leave, I would have chosen to run that down. Instead, when the club offered me six I was happy to sign."

Tierney has contributed five goals and a further 11 assists for Celtic across all competitions this term and he appears keen on staying put for the long-term, having committed his future on a fresh six-year deal this season.
