Chelsea have reportedly decided against offloading Michy Batshuayi amid interest from German outfit Borussia Dortmund.
The Belgian spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan with Dortmund and he managed to score nine goals in 14 outings before sustaining a season-ending injury.
Since then, BvB have been keen on pursuing a permanent move for his signature, though this is something the Blues are not said to favour, according to The Mirror.
As such, the Bundesliga club are likely to switch their focus to Batshuayi's teammate Alvaro Morata, who appears the more likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Batshuayi is currently nursing an ankle problem but he is expected to return in time to make the Belgium squad for the summer World Cup finals in Russia.
Following the global tournament, he should report to pre-season training with the Blues after an extended break, though it is unclear whether Antonio Conte will remain in charge at the helm.
