Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning the sale of Anthony Martial as part of a summer clearout at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils managed to secure their highest league finish since 2013 this term but there was still disappointment as they failed to win any form of silverware.
As such, Mourinho is frustrated with his underperforming squad and he is prepared to wield the axe on a number of first-team players including Martial and Luke Shaw.
According to The Sun, the likes of Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian could be heading through the exit door alongside Martial, though the latter's £70m price tag could prove a stumbling block.
It is added that the funds gained would be spent directly in the transfer market with Napoli duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Jorginho identified as potential targets for the summer.
United are currently free to buy or sell players within their domestic divisions but the international transfer window is not expected to reopen until June 8.
