  • Kante, who helped Leicester City to their first ever Premier League title and then moved to Chelsea the following year; with whom he won his second championship in England, is widely regarded as one of the finest defensive midfielders in the world.

Paris St Germain have been locked in talks with Blues representatives for over a month regarding a potential move, with the club's manager Thomas Tuchel insisting that Kante would be the perfect acquisition for the club.

PSG's board have one target in mind - winning the Champions League - and it is believed that signing Kante and partnering him in midfield with Marco Verratti would give the team a realistic chance of winning the European Cup.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly told his club's board that he would like to keep Kante, but it appears the player is ready to move abroad.
