The representative of Lucas Perez has confirmed that his client is keen on succeeding with Arsenal and will rejoin his teammates for pre-season training.
Perez hardly got a look in during his debut season with the Gunners between 2016 and 2017 and he was loaned out to ex-club Deportivo during the previous campaign.
A report from The Sun has since suggested that Unai Emery could be prepared to offer a second chance to the Spaniard and his representative has admitted that it could be a possibility.
"Lucas, on day 2, begins pre-season with Arsenal. There is interest from some teams, but he is a player of Arsenal and his desire is to succeed there,” he told Protio Sport.
Aside from Perez, the Gunners have to make a similar decision on Joel Campbell, who has spent most of his time away from the Emirates. The Costa Rican has made just 40 appearances for the Gunners and he has recently been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
