Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Willian from Chelsea after witnessing Barcelona make a formal approach for his services.
The Brazil international has been a key contributor for the Blues over the past five seasons but his future has come under question of late with his contract expiring in two years' time.
A recent report from The Express cited that the Blaugrana failed with an opening bid worth £50m for the attacker and United appear to have since joined the player's pursuit with Mourinho keen on a reunion.
United are presently comfortably placed in terms of attacking recruits but Mourinho is still said to be eyeing a new forward who can efficiently slot into the right-wing position.
As such, Willian's name has propped up on numerous outlets over the past few weeks but his potential arrival may witness Anthony Martial's probable exit from Old Trafford.
The Frenchman is understood to be unsettled at the club after playing second fiddle to Alexis Sanchez for the second half of last season and he is seemingly keen on a summer exit.
