Tottenham edge nearer to Malcom signing?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in discussions with Bordeaux for the services from Malcom during the ongoing transfer window.

The Brazilian footballer had been of interest from the likes of Arsenal and Spurs last winter but the deal could not materialise after Bordeaux decided against his sale.

Nevertheless, Spurs are said to have maintained their interest heading into the summer and according to The Mirror, they are now in a straight tussle with Inter Milan to secure his signature.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are yet to make any signings in the ongoing transfer window but that should soon change with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Heung-min Son among others set to miss the start of the season.

Kane and his England teammates are due to miss the opening stages of the campaign owing to their participation at the World Cup whilst Son faces a similar situation as he is set to feature for South Korea at the Asian games in Indonesia.
