Chelsea make key transfer decision on Eden Hazard

Hazard unlikely to be sold this summer

Chelsea make key transfer decision on Eden Hazard

16 July 2018 - 11:45

Chelsea are reportedly confident of keeping hold of Eden Hazard beyond the summer transfer window despite the interest from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The 27-year-old was undoubtedly the standout performer for Belgium at the summer World Cup where the Red Devils secured third position ahead of England.

Hazard has since admitted that he could part ways with the Blues after six glorious years but The Telegraph suggests that the club have no plans of cashing in on signature this summer.

The former Lille man still has two years left on his existing deal at Stamford Bridge and the hierarchy could be prepared to gamble for another year at the least before considering his sale.

Chelsea recently confirmed the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as their new head coach. The Italian is said to have since demanded that both Hazard and Willian remain unsold during the ongoing transfer window.
