Gattuso reveals plans for Leonardo Bonucci

Gattuso reveals plans for Leonardo Bonucci

21 July 2018 - 11:00

AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso has said that the club wants to keep defender Leonardo Bonucci at all costs.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • Bonucci has been the subject of transfer speculation with reports linking him to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Manchester Evening News, Gattuso hailed the former Juventus defender as a 'great professional' whose choice should be respected.

AC Milan obviously want to keep him and their efforts have been boosted by the fact that their Europa League ban has been reversed after a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

It may be difficult to convince Bonucci to stay because the idea of playing in the Champions League with United or PSG could be hard to resist.

AC Milan have not played in the Champions League for some time now, but Gattuso has said that overall they want to win like Bonucci wants to.

United or PSG have not made a bid for the defender, but reports suggest that Bonucci favours a move to France over England.
